Work Stresses

Trying to balance life outside of work is not only challenging but at times extremely frustrating.

As your therapist I can explore with you how that balance can be better met and look for ways to examine what is important for you in moving forward to allow for a much more self satisfying approach to work and home life. 

My job is to help you make what sometimes can be extremely difficult decisions, but to make the right ones for you in a safe and confidential environment, knowing that I have only your interests and well being at the centre of our work together.

Mentoring and working with 

Self-Esteem

Throughout my working life my job as a lecturer has involved tutoring and mentoring mature and young adults, preparing them for their future careers and building and strengthening their self belief. As a manager of two specific teams I worked with staff to achieve the best for the students but also for them as staff to enable and enrich their own personal experience through staff development and encouraging them to look at how they could enhance their own experience and skills base.

 

Often we find ourselves at a turning point in our lives through unexpected traumas such as changes at work, in our personal life or just dissatisfaction in relation to where we are at that make us question who we are, what we are doing and where it is leading us.

 

It can be difficult to work through this alone and to uncover what is needed to make changes, especially when your confidence in self has taken a knock for whatever reason.

During my work with you we will examine your thoughts, feelings and explore any belief systems that you hold that are possibly blocking your way forward, whether that is in respect to your current position or making fundamental changes to reach the place you need to be.

 

We will look at strategies to help you gain confidence and explore a range of possibilities that examine your strengths and work towards dissolving issues that are holding you back.
